Valley Titans × REI Prep · Private Opportunity
An opportunity
built around
your student.
Thank you to our Valley Titans families for taking the time to sit down with us and learn more about REI Prep. This page recaps our conversation — what we're offering, how the school and basketball experience can work for your family, and what happens next.
The Opportunity
What we want to do for your student.
Our goal is bigger than simply giving your athlete another place to play basketball. We want to create an environment that supports the student, the athlete and the person — academically, athletically and in preparation for what comes next.
Selected Valley Titans athletes are being invited to become REI Prep student-athletes with access to:

A Significant Investment
A significant investment in your athlete.
REI Prep's academic program is tuition-free for eligible Arizona students through our academic partner, Premier Prep Online Academy.
In addition, selected Valley Titans student-athletes are being offered a scholarship that fully covers the normal REI Prep Student-Athlete activity/program fee. This means selected families can access the full REI Prep Student-Athlete experience without paying the normal monthly fee.
The scholarship applies to the REI Prep Student-Athlete activity/program fee — not the tuition-free academic program, which is already free for eligible students.

Answering the Big Question
Does my student have to be at
Ballin Elite from 9–3 every day?
NO.
REI Prep academics are online. Your student does not have to travel to Ballin Elite every day in order to attend school. Students can complete their academic coursework remotely from home or another appropriate location.
For families who want the structure and in-person environment, REI Prep provides a school-day experience at Ballin Elite.
Path 1
The Ballin Elite School Day
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Academic Block

Path 2
Remote Academics
Students may complete their academic coursework remotely, then participate in their scheduled/required basketball practices, games, team activities and competitions.
Online Academics = Flexibility.
Team Commitments = Still Team Commitments.
Flexibility applies to where students complete schoolwork. It does not mean athletes can disregard required practices, games, or team responsibilities.

Online Doesn't Mean Alone
Your student isn't on an island.
Flexibility should not come at the expense of support. REI Prep students have access to academic resources designed to help them stay connected, accountable and moving forward.
Teacher + Instructor Support
Students have access to their teachers/instructors and applicable office hours.
REI Prep Drop-In Hours
Virtual Zoom drop-in opportunities where students can get help, ask questions, work through challenges or add accountability.
Structured Academic Time
Students using the Ballin Elite school-day environment have a dedicated 9 AM–12 PM academic block.
College-Prep Support
We are not simply helping students finish high school. We are preparing them for what comes next.

Basketball Opportunity
More reps.
More development.
More opportunity.
For athletes who are not competing on a traditional school team, REI Prep creates another important competitive environment. Students develop alongside athletes they already know while building relationships with new teammates and competing as REI Prep student-athletes.

Why School Basketball Matters
The reps have to lead somewhere.
Development matters. But athletes also need opportunities to compete, build film, establish statistics, experience different levels of competition and demonstrate growth. REI Prep provides a school basketball environment designed to create those opportunities while keeping academics and long-term preparation at the center.

Whole-Athlete Development
The person matters too.
College readiness is bigger than recruiting. Our responsibility is to help students become better prepared for the academic, athletic and personal responsibilities that come next.
The goal isn't simply to help an athlete get somewhere. It's to help them be ready when they get there.

Club + School
Build on what they already have.
We do not want Valley Titans athletes to lose the relationships and development environment they have already built. The REI Prep opportunity is designed to add another layer.

A More Complete Student-Athlete Experience
Valley Titans participation does not automatically enroll a student at REI Prep. Families must complete the required enrollment process.
Athlete Recognition
They work hard.
They should be seen.
The photographs on this page are an example of how we want to recognize and present our student-athletes. REI Prep plans to create opportunities for:
This is about more than posting pictures. It's about helping students learn how to represent themselves, their team and their school professionally.

Ready to Move Forward?
If you're ready, let's get started now.
We would love to begin welcoming our Valley Titans student-athletes into REI Prep as early as next week. If this opportunity feels right for your family, please begin the enrollment process as soon as possible.
The sooner we begin, the sooner we can work through the enrollment process and start preparing your student for the school year and basketball season.
There's a lot happening behind the scenes.
We want to get to the fun part — but important steps have to happen first.
- Complete school enrollment
- Confirm student-athlete participation
- Complete required parent/guardian documentation
- Finalize rosters
- Submit team information
- Order uniforms
- Build schedules
- Coordinate training and competition
- Plan Media Day
- Prepare player announcements
- Prepare team announcements
Uniforms don't arrive overnight.
Rosters don't build themselves.
Seasons require preparation.
If your family intends to move forward, please don't wait unnecessarily to begin enrollment.
